The Southmartins Acoustic | Stockton-on-Tees

A rare 4-piece acoustic show in a very intimate setting from a band that usually sells out much bigger rooms up and down the UK

Expect hits from both the Beautiful South and the Housemartins with classic songs such as Happy Hour, Perfect 10, You Keep it all In, Rotterdam, Me and the Farmer, Song for Whoever and so many more classic pop hits from the witty, melodic pen of Ivor-Novello-winning Paul Heaton (he loves ‘em – and if that isn’t the best endorsement The Southmartins could wish for then we don’t know what is).

The band have developed into something unique in the world of tribute bands. There’s a genuine feeling of the songs being alive, with little attempt at pure imitation and a healthy irreverence that allows them at times to make the songs their own whilst remaining true to the spirit of the these two much-loved bands.
You’ll leave with a smile on your face and a song in your heart.
